1. How do I request for a MOE current or ex school teacher ?
You may fill up the request form on our home page . You may also send us a text message or call us at 9773 0543 or 9088 6121 . We will response to your request as soon as we can.
2. Do I have to pay for the referral fee ?
Hiring a MOE current or ex school teacher is free of charge. However, for every referral assignment, 121 MOE tutor agency will collect 50% of the agreed rate in the first month. The balance 50% of the tuition fee should be paid directly to the teacher after the 4th lesson for once a week assignment (or on the 8th lesson for twice weekly assignment) .Thereafter you will pay 100% of the tuition fee to the teacher for the subsequent months.
3. How do I know that the tutor you recommend is MOE current or ex teacher.
All MOE school teacher whether current or ex teacher will have to provide us their MOE email address or NIE certificate for verification upon registration . Current school teacher are also advised to present their Civil service card (CSC) or school pass to the parent on the first lesson for identification purpose. If the recommended tutor is not a MOE current or ex teacher , 121 MOE Tutor Agency will refund you the full referral fees.
4. What are the rates for 1-1 Private Home Tuition?

5. Can I request for a change of teacher after lesson start?
If for whatever reason you are not satisfied with the MOE teacher, you can request for a change of teacher free of charge. However, you have to pay for the number of lessons completed by the teacher at the agreed rate to the Agency. 121 MOE Tutor Agency will then collect the full amount of the tuition fee from you and thereafter we will settle the fee with the teacher.
6. How do I pay for the referral fee for 1-1 Private Home Tuition?
121 MOE Tutor Agency will message or whaspp you the payment details of the referral fee. You can pay via Paynow or do a Bank transfer / I Banking / post a cheque to us to our office. We can also arrange for a representative to collect cash from you at your convenience.

7. What if there are disputes during the lesson ?
121 MOE Tutor Agency will step in to assist any disputes arising from it and will try to settle it for both parties amicably.

1. How Do I request for MOE teacher offering a Group Home Tuition?
You may fill up the request form for Group Tuition on our home page . You may also send us a text message or call us at 9773 0543 or 9088 6121 . We will response to your request as soon as we can.
2. How do I know that the tutor you recommend is MOE current or ex teacher.
All MOE school teacher whether current or ex teacher will have to provide us their MOE email address or NIE certificate for verification upon registration . 3. What are the rates for Group Home Tuition?
The rates for group home tuition will vary depending on the teacher’s teaching experience, class sizes and duration. We will find you a suitable group tuition based on your request and will send you the details via text messages.
4. Can I request for a change after the Group Home Tuition lesson started ?
The student has to complete at least 4 lessons as this is a group tuition and it involve other students as well. If the student chose not to complete before the 4 lesson is up, there will be no refunds of the tuition fee.
5. Why is it necessary to pay the tuition fee upfront for group tuition before lesson start?
You are required to pay the referral fee before the lesson start as this is a group tuition and it involved other students. We have to ensure all student paid up the fees upfront so that the tuition can start as teacher will prepare the necessary materials and all students are expected to turn up for the first lesson.
6. How do I pay for the referral fee for Group Home Tuition?
121 MOE Tutor Agency will message you the payment details of the referral fee. You can pay it via Paynow/ Bank ATM transfer / I Banking or post a cheque to us to our office. We can also arrange for a representative to collect cash from you at your convenience. You will have to pay 121 MOE Tutor Agency 50% of the tuition fee upfront before the lesson start.
The balance 50% of the tuition fee should be paid to the teacher on the first lesson. Thereafter, you will pay the full amount (100%) of the tuition fee to the teacher.

Terms and Conditions for MOE current / ex teacher registration
1 How do we register with 121 MOE tutor Tuition Agency ?
For current school teacher or ex school teacher , you may use the Tutor Registration form using your MOE email address to register. You just need to follow the registration process from there.
2. What are the commission charged by 121 MOE Tutor Agency?
According to current practices, we collect 50 percent as commission for the first 4 weeks. The parent/ client will pay 121 Tutor Agency the first 2 lessons for once a week assignment or 4 lessons for twice weekly assignments. You are not allowed to collect this fee from the parent/client.
The parent/client will pay you the balance of the 50% of the tuition fee. Thereafter you will collect 100% of the tuition fee for the subsequent months.
3. What will happen if the parent decides not continue after the 1st lesson ?
If the lesson is cancelled by the parent before the 4 lessons is up, we will collect the number of lessons you have completed from the parent and pay you a maximum of 50% of the fee at the agreed rate.
4. Is there any minimum period that I have to commit?
We expect all MOE teachers to complete at least 1 month of tuition. Your first lesson is very important as parent usually will make arrangement to be at home to welcome the teacher.
5. Is there anything I should prepare on the first lesson?
121 MOE Tutor Agency expect all teacher to be prepare lesson, bring the necessary materials or notes, be punctual and in proper attire as well. You are also required to bring along the Civil Service Card (CSC) or the school pass for parent identification purpose as parent usually will make the necessary arrangement to be at home to welcome the teacher.
6. What if I have to terminate the assignment within the first month ?
In the unlikely event that you cannot continue before the 1 month is up, you have to inform the agency immediately with a good cause /reason.
We view such cancellation very serious as it will affect your credibility as MOE teacher / tutor. We will not hesitate to blacklist or terminate these teachers as it will damage the reputation of 121 MOE Tutor Agency.
7. Will my profile / information be seen on 121 MOE Tutor Agency website?
We can assure you that it will not be shown on our website as we understand such profile or information is private and confidential.
